General Terms & Conditions
Mandatory Account Info: You must provide your full legal name, a verified business email address, and any required onboarding details during sign-up.
NO REDISTRIBUTION: You may NOT redistribute, resell, or share our data archives with third parties. Users violating this rule will be permanently banned without eligibility for refunds.
NO CREDENTIAL SHARING: Account credential sharing is strictly prohibited. Accounts detected with simultaneous logins across multiple users or locations will be permanently suspended without prior notice under our strict 1-user policy.
NO REFUNDS: All products and subscriptions are sold on an "as is" basis. You assume full responsibility for your purchase, and no refunds will be granted once account access is activated.
Server Data Retention: Daily database files are retained on our servers for a maximum of 3 days. Files older than 3 days are automatically deleted and cannot be recovered unless backed up.
Account Security Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials. Whois Data Tech is not liable for any losses arising from security breaches on the user's end.
Acceptable Legal Use: Services must not be utilized for illegal, unauthorized, or malicious purposes. You agree to comply with all applicable local and international copyright and privacy laws.
As-Is Service & Support: Services are delivered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Technical support is provided exclusively in English via email and support ticketing.
Billing, Payment and Refunds
Advance Payments: All subscription plans and dataset purchases must be paid in advance and are strictly non-refundable. No pro-rated refunds or partial credits will be issued.
Price Modifications: Whois Data Tech reserves the right to increase or adjust dataset pricing at any time without advance notice. Price changes will be reflected on our website.
Tax Obligations: Our listed rates exclude any government taxes or duties imposed by governing authorities. Customers are responsible for settling applicable local tax obligations.
Service Alterations: We reserve the right to modify, pause, or discontinue any product or service feature at any time with or without prior notification.
Auto-Renewal Cancellation: You may cancel recurring automatic renewals at any time directly through your payment portal (PayPal / Stripe / Merchant settings). Once canceled, account access will remain active until the end of the current paid billing cycle.
Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to revise, update, or replace these Terms of Service periodically without individual notice. Continued usage of our website and endpoints constitutes agreement to updated terms.
Any new tools, features, or expanded database feeds added to current services shall automatically be subject to these Terms of Service.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend service access without prior warning or liability if you breach any provision of these Terms.
Upon account termination, your right to access database archives and API endpoints immediately ceases.
Provisions regarding intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability shall survive account termination.
Data Access & Delivery Specific Details
Bulk Database Transfer Time: Compiling and transferring full bulk database orders may take approximately 8 to 10 hours following request confirmation.
Expired Account Lockout: Following plan expiration, subscriber download privileges to historical database files are automatically disabled.
Scheduled Upload Schedule: New daily database packages are uploaded to subscriber servers at approximately 10:30 PM CST each day.
Download Archive Window: The subscriber download portal retains 10 consecutive daily records. Older records are purged automatically to maintain server storage efficiency.
Missed Archive Retrieval Fee: Re-issuing archived dataset files outside the standard retention window costs a $30 manual recovery fee.
Dataset Record Age: Uploaded WHOIS files reflect records generated 24 to 48 hours prior to delivery.
Daily Database Scope: A fresh database is compiled daily containing newly registered domain WHOIS information from the prior 24 hours, alongside delayed registry updates from up to 10 previous days.
